Spring Clean-Up: This includes dethatching of the lawn, blowing out leaves from rock and mulch beds, lawn mowing, trimming, collecting and hauling away of all collected debris.
Lawn Mowing: All turf areas will be mowed on a schedule you choose generally once per week, 10 day or bi-weekly. All areas bordered by grass will be trimmed at each mowing and hard surfaces will be blown free of lawn debris
Fall Cleanup: This includes blowing debris and leaves out of all landscaped areas, mowing and trimming of the turf and leaf collecting. We generally perform this twice during the fall season and this includes disposal. Landscape bed maintenance can also be done at this time.
Use of Chemicals: We use the most effective chemical controls available to us at this time. We can effectively control Creeping Charlie, Clover, Thistle, Dandelions, and many other weeds that plague our lawns. But, we try to do so with as little chemical use as possible.

Dethatching is important because too much thatch can prevent water, air, nutrients, and sunlight from reaching the roots of your lawn. This can lead to problems like: Weak grass blades, Spongy grass, Difficulty mowing, Thinning grass, Dry spots, Insects, and Fungal diseases.
Aeration is the process of removing plugs of soil in order to break up soil compaction, allowing oxygen and water to reach the root zone. These holes are small – only a few inches deep – and are typically made by simply piercing the ground, or removing small “plugs” of dirt. The treatment is key to stimulating root growth and encourages the penetration of air, water, and nutrients into the soil. It’s also key to removing and preventing thatch buildup.
